Ella 4th birthday!

Ella turned 4 this week. She's really a big kid now. She is a spunky little thing, with a big heart. She idolizes her older sister - they're attached at the hip pretty much all day. She is still getting the hang of being an older sister to her baby brother. There are times when she tells me that I need to sell Ethan or give him away (these comments are usually made after he bites her). She loves to dance and cook. Her favorite princesses are Ariel and Cinderella. She still has a cute way of speaking. For instance, she says "fleep" for "sleep" and she says, "b-jews me" for "excuse me". She is crazy for candy and anything sweet.

Her answers to the annual birthday letter questions never disappoint. Here are a few:

Q: What is your favorite treat?

A: candy. all of them.

Q: What is your favorite thing to do?

A: eat candy

Q: What do you want to be when you grow up?

A: a dentist

an Ariel cake, naturally (you can tell it is homemade by the ugly piping and sloping of the cake).

I like how happy she looks while we were singing "Happy Birthday" to her.

Ella with her favorite stuffed animals Teddy and Blue Blue. She would sometimes wake up in the middle of the night and cry, "I can't find Teeeeedddddyyyyy. Where is heeeeeee?" and she wouldn't go back to sleep until the lost bear was found from amongst her covers.

We had her birthday party a few days before her actual birthday. On the morning of her birthday, she got a little treat with a candle in it to blow out.
