On the first day of real snow (not just a dusting), the girls made a small snowgirl. There was about an inch of wet snow that was perfect for making snowballs.
I hadn't bought Ethan any snow boots yet, so he had to clip clop around in Ella's size 10 pink boots from last year. Ethan wears a size 6.
All that clip cloppin ended up in a lot of this.
I think it's funny how short and squatty Ethan's legs look.
We made lots of snowballs.
One thing that gets me worked up almost to the point of crying is getting Ella's little fingers to go into the right finger hole. Why is it so hard?!

Second Day of Snowfall (2-3 inches)
The boy has some boy boots! More importantly, he has some boots that fit him.
He's crying because it took 20 minutes to get him and the girls ready (remember Ella's gloves) to go out in the snow, and the girls booked it out the door while Mom made him take a picture.
3rd Day of Snowfall (at least 6 inches)

Ella's favorite thing to do with snow. She came in and said, "My chin is really cold." Hmmm, I wonder why.
Ethan had to sit this snow day out.

We are sooooo jealous of your beautiful snow!!! It's gorgeous! So fun. Ethan is hilarious!!! His little legs crack me up too! Be careful and keep warm, but enjoy the snow!!!
PS: those snowballs are perfect... wish Uncle Benny was there to throw them at him!

Oh I love these snow pictures. They are having so much fun in the snow. Ethan is cracking me up in these pic drowning in his snow pants. He looks so little.
