The YMCA has been our favorite place to go so far this summer (we haven't checked out the beaches here yet). The girls have had a blast this week swimming every day for "Splash Week". This was actually Ella's first experience with formally learning how to swim, and she did really well. Avery is swimming so well that she can swim in the deep end now. She is also able to swim on her back. They will begin swimming lessons next week and they end right before we go to Oregon. Get ready Grammy for some little fish to show off their skills!
Ella had fun with this little boy splashing water while they sat on the edge of the pool waiting for their turn. Ella likes to push and see how much mischief she can get away with before being reprimanded.
This little boy is Avery's age and is in her Primary class. Ella is about the size of an average 5 year old child.

It's good thing the Scroggin's have a pool we can go to anytime we want. love and hugs, grammy ps I'm dog sitting for Pepe and Koda while the family is in Sunriver until Sunday.
Lucky girls to know how to swim. I think I can dog paddle for a little bit and that's it. So sad! Looks like fun though!
